\u201cHybriLIT\u201d Heterogeneous Platform<\/h1>\n

The \u201cHybriLIT\u201d Heterogeneous Platform is\u00a0part of the\u00a0Multifunctional Information and Computing Complex (MICC)\u00a0of the Laboratory of Information Technologies at the\u00a0Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. The heterogeneous platform consists of the \u201cGovorun\u201d supercomputer and the \u201cHybriLIT\u201d education and testing polygon.<\/p>\n

The \u201cGOVORUN\u201d Supercomputer<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is a two-component system that includes a CPU-component based on the latest Intel architectures (Intel Xeon Phi and Intel Skylake processors), and a GPU-component based on NVIDIA DGX-1 Volta.<\/p>\n

The education and testing polygon<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is based on the\u00a0heterogeneous structure of computational\u00a0nodes and allows developing parallel applications for carrying out calculations using various computing architectures such as multicore CPUs, Intel Xeon Pho co-processors, and NVIDIA (Tesla K20, K40, K80) GPUs. It also provides a possibility to hold tutorials in parallel programming technologies that help students to learn novel computing architectures.<\/p>\n
