CICC and EOS

The CICC is a complex of information and computing resources for all local and international projects of JINR. It comprises an interactive cluster, several computing farms, a data storage system and some auxiliary servers. Provides the necessary services - computing, data storage services, data transfer services - to both users taking part in local and international projects, as well as users developing application and information software.

EOS is designed for storing and accessing large volumes of information, including for distributed collective data generation, storage of “raw” installation data, data conversion and analysis.

WHO CAN USE IT?

• JINR users
• Attached researchers
• Students who practice in JINR
• Third party staff participating in collaborations (the associated personnel of JINR)

HOW TO KNOW IF I NEED THE СICC AND EOS?

• You are a JINR project participant
• Your tasks require computing power
• You need data storage
• You deal with parallel computing
• You have to use GRID
